Records are also available with less restrictions from the Superior Court, Criminal Div. at 500 Indiana NW, Rm 4001, phone 202-879-1373. The court record mail/fax search fee is $10.00; a signed release not required there. Records are available for 10 years. It takes 1 day before new records are available for inquiry. 
The only records released to the public contain convictions.
46% of all arrests in database have final dispositions recorded, 84% for those arrests within last 5 years.
SPECIFIC SEARCH INFORMATION
ACCESS NOTES AND FEES:
Records are referred to as Police Clearances. Include the following in your request: signed, notarized release from subject, full name (middle initial), date and place of birth, year. Use of the PD70 Application (Criminal History Request) is suggested. The SSN, race, current address and case number, if known, are helpful. Although 80% of the records are fingerprint supported, fingerprints searches are not available. The following data is not released -- pending cases. A Police Clearance is $7.00, a Police Report of an incident is $3.00.

Turnaround time 2 to 4 weeks. A SASE is required.
