Presented at
the October 2005
Internet Librarian conference,
Using XML for Wireless Access presents
the results of our research and
testing of an XML-based system for delivering content to
handheld devices. We converted several month's worth of
the newsletter,
TVC Alert
Research News, to XML and tested its
delivery to cell phones, PDAs and other handheld
devices. The test culminated in the launch of a new
Web
site.
